What is NeuroPro?
NeuroPro is a professional product, recommended by leading Canadian Neuroscientists to support cognitive function and enhance mental and physical capacity.* Each capsule contains 45 mg of triterpenoid saponins (ginsenoside fraction).
Why do I need NeuroPro?
As we age, we tend to have decreased brain function through loss of neurons. This process leaves us feeling confused, forgetful and at times limits our mobility. Triterpenoid saponins provide support for cellular health during this aging process.*
How is NeuroPro different from other ginseng products?
While derived from ginseng, NeuroPro’s final formulation does not resemble current ginseng supplements currently available over the counter. After extensive research, NeuroPro scientists identified the key components of ginseng and optimized these compounds in a laboratory setting for enhanced benefit.
Backed by strong and compelling data from several years of laboratory research, the ginseng species, source, and extraction methods used in NeuroPro are today held as a trade secret. NeuroPro is also tested to ensure compliance with Canada’s stringent guidelines regarding pesticide and heavy metal content, and other toxicity standards.
What are triterpenoid saponins?
Triterpenoid saponins are naturally occurring compounds, often referred to as adaptogenic compounds. Adaptogens support the body against various stressors.* Ginsenosides are one class of triterpenoid saponins found only in ginseng. They are modified in the digestive system to form molecules which are then absorbed into the bloodstream.
Are there any side effects?
Some people may experience insomnia, anxiety or headaches. If you experience any of these effects discontinue use in consultation with your physician. As with all medication, please read the package label.
How do I take NeuroPro?
Adults take 3 capsules twice daily with meals or as directed by your Physician or Health Care Practitioner.
Can I take the recommended 6 capsules daily using a different usage schedule?
Typically it is better to take natural health products in two or three doses over the course of the day, depending on convenience. Therefore, NeuroPro can be taken as recommended (3 capsules twice daily) or, if desired, 2 capsules three times per day. Since NeuroPro can increase energy levels, it may be preferred to take the last dose of the day in the afternoon, especially if sleep problems already exist.
Are there any precautions that should be observed when taking NeuroPro?
Consult a Physician or Health Care Practitioner prior to use if you have diabetes, are taking blood thinners or digoxin, or are taking antidepressant medications. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a Physician or other Health Care Practitioner for use beyond 3 months. Some people may experience insomnia, anxiety or headaches, in which case discontinue use. Do not use if safety seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Store at 15–30 °C.
Why should I consult a Health Care Practitioner for use of NeuroPro beyond 3 months?
The triterpenoid saponins found in NeuroPro and extracted from ginseng root have a long history of safe long term use around the world, and are revered in many cultures for their benefits. In addition, long term animal studies show no negative effects. Health Canada guidelines for natural health products require a general statement recommending consultation with a health care practitioner for use beyond three months; this is to ensure that health care practitioners are made aware of all the natural health products that their patients’ are taking.
